A woman has been killed in a three-vehicle crash involving a cement truck in western Victoria.

Victoria Police say the deadly collision happened at Horsham on Stawell Road about 2.40pm on Friday afternoon.

“Investigators have been told a cement truck was travelling north towards the intersection of Williams Road when it collided into the rear of an SUV, which in turn collided with a utility,” police said in a statement.

The woman who died was travelling in the SUV, while three other occupants in the same vehicle were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The ute driver was a woman who only suffered minor injuries.

Police say the driver of the cement truck is a 52-year-old Horsham man who’s assisting with the investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dash cam footage is urged to contact police.
