Chelsea endured a frustrating afternoon as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Leeds at Elland Road on Saturday, as Thomas Tuchel extended his unbeaten run as Blues boss to 12 games.

A hotly contested opening 45 minutes saw both sides denied by the woodwork, with Chelsea inches away from taking the lead after a Leeds defensive mix-up saw the ball cannon off Diego Llorente and onto the crossbar, before Tyler Roberts’ brilliant effort also bounced off the frame of the goal.

Illan Meslier produced a smart stop to deny Kai Havertz early on in the second half, before Edouard Mendy pulled off an even better save with Raphinha looking destined to hand Marcelo Bielsa’s side the lead.

The game was there for the taking for both sides late on, but neither could find a real moment of quality to break the deadlock as the game ended in stalemate.

That’s the match highlights done with, now to those all important Leeds and Chelsea player ratings…
