NSW Health is urgently trying to track down people who attended an IKEA store in Sydney after one new case was linked to a visit to the store potentially putting 2000 others at risk.

Of the new cases, 35 are linked to existing clusters and cases, while nine remain under investigation.
The new cases include 19 people who were out and about in the community while infectious.
Anyone who attended IKEA Tempe on 6 July from 10am-9pm is a close contact and must immediately get tested and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result, and call 1800 943 553 unless they have already been contacted by NSW Health.
NSW Health believes there are about 2000 close contacts now linked to this exposure.

NSW Health is also encouraging anyone who lives or works in or around these areas to be particularly vigilant for any symptoms that could signal COVID-19, and if they appear, immediately get tested and isolate until they receive a negative result.
On Thursday night, several major shopping centres in west and southwest Sydney were put on alert as concern over the spread of COVID in those areas grows.
A casual contact alert was on Thursday issued for several other venues with anyone who attended at specific times urged to get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
