A man has been charged after allegedly opening fire during a stand-off with police in northeast Victoria.
The 38-year-old is accused of trespassing on the Greta West property on Tuesday night and brandishing two guns at police.
He then allegedly hid and fired three shots, causing police negotiating with him to take cover.
The Craigieburn man surrendered and was charged with offences including conduct endangering life and serious injury.
He is due to appear in Wangaratta Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
