What do you know about delirium? Would you know it if you saw it? Do you know what it is?

If you don’t, you’re not alone. It’s a condition that people often don’t hear about, until they are confronted with it, when a loved one is in hospital.

Dr Laurie Grealish is an Associate Professor of Subacute and Aged Nursing in the School of Nursing & Midwifery at Griffith University.

She spoke to Matt Webber about delirium, who is most at risk, and what can be done to lessen it’s impact.
